Community Engagement & Program Development

Who I Am…

A little bit about myself… I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, more specifically, Ladera Heights. All my life I have been focused on bridging communities together regardless of where one comes from. My father is my inspiration to dedicating my time and my energy to creating and sustaining social change.

In 2015, I pursued my Bachelor of Arts (BA) at San Diego State University in Sociology and Africana Studies. After I received my BA, I decided to take a year to figure out what I’m really passionate in. In 2019, I worked alongside adolescent individuals with mental and physical disabilities to help look for employment and volunteer opportunities for those within the disabled persons community. During my time at this Start-Up, I realized my passion was social work; social change. So in 2020, I applied to USC’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work because I was ready to create change and they always say change starts with you!

YES!!! I went to Grad School during the pandemic and it was hell I won’t sugar coat it but I did what I had to do to get where I want. While it was a lot of ups and downs, I would do it all over again! I recently graduated in May of 2023 and have been chasing my dreams ever since…

I have worked with and alongside Public and Private Schools, Non-Profit Organizations, and Small/New/Private Businesses! My focus is to BRING your vision to LIFE with my expertise in MACRO Social Work.
